For the Qur’an, Arabic & Islamic Studies Department, candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Islamic studies, foreign language, linguistics or a related field; native-like fluency in the language; 2-5 years of teaching experience; ability to use the latest technology and teaching techniques to educate students aged 5 to 17. Also desired knowledge of the An-Nuraniyah Qur’an teaching method for Qur’an teaching positions.”
For the upper school (6th-11th grade) Social Studies Department, candidates qualifications should include a bachelor’s degree and at least 12 credits in the subject area (social sciences). A degree from a teacher program (college of education) or holding a state teaching license is preferred, but not mandatory.
