We would like to welcome all our soccer players for the fall semester of our league. The schedule for the practices will be Mondays (Co-Ed) Ages 6-10, Tuesdays (Boys) ages 11-15, Wednesdays (Girls) Ages 11-15 at GSA. Games will be scheduled on Sundays at IFSF between 9-3 with prayer around 1pm.
The goals for the soccer league are for the children to develop teamwork, respect, honesty, and athletic skills. In order to fulfill these goals there are certain rules to follow. These rules are in place to give children a chance to play, have fun, and learn. Respect is vital. Everyone should treat each other with respect.
Requirements to play:
-All teams must have at least 10 players to implement this program.
– Must provide copy birth certificates (If GSA does not have it on file)
– Must wear the team Jersey, have soccer cleats, shin guards, black socks, black shorts (girls black pants) and girls 11+ Hijab.
-Students will be placed in the age group based on the age they were when school began Aug 15th.
6 Co-Ed
All students must have been 6 years old at the start of the school year
7-8 Co-Ed
All students must have been 7-8 years old at the start of the school year
9-10 Co-Ed
All students must have been 9-10 years old at the start of the school year
11-15 Girls
All students must have been 11-15 years old at the start of the school year
11-12 Boys
All students must have been 11-12 years old at the start of the school year
13-15 Boys
All students must have been 13-15 years old at the start of the school year
Parent’s expectations:
– Parents are responsible for their child’s transportation to and from practice and to games.
– Players must report to practice on time with soccer cleats and shin guards.
– Players must attend 80 percent of scheduled practices but can miss only 3. If 3 or more are exceeded
then that player will not play for two games.
Registration form is attached please, fill out and return with payment. Registration is $125.00 due before December 16th, 2016. NO EXCEPTIONS.
ALL PRACTICES WILL BE HELD AT GSA AFTER SCHOOL FROM 3:50 TO 4:50. YOU MUST
ARRIVE AT 4:45 TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD. A LATE FEE OF $20 WILL BE CHARGED IF YOU DO
NOT ARRIVE BY 5PM. IF A PRACTICE IS CANCELLED, AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT OUT AS SOON
AS THAT DECISION IS MADE.

WE WILL HAVE 1 PRE-SEASON GAME ON JANUARY 15TH. THE REGULAR SEASON WILL BEGIN
ON JANUARY 22ND. WE SHOULD PLAY 4 GAMES PLUS PLAYOFFS.
